Se estrena el Blog de Botija de mi País, película documental que retrara la vida de 10 músicos uruguayos que actualmente residen en los Estados Unidos.
El equipo ha dedicado los dos ultimos años a investigar acerca de la música en las corrientes migratorias.
Realizamos un registro de músicos latinoamericanos que viven en Estados Unidos y Europa.
Hemos descubierto que no son veinte, ni treinta, que son miles.
Actualmente residen 80.000 uruguayos en Estados Unidos según el último
censo realizado por el gobierno americano.
Siendo Nueva York el principal punto elegido por nuestros artistas a la
hora
de emigrar, comenzamos a generar lazos con los músicos de esta zona, hasta que fue inevitable la idea de trabajar en serio en la realización
de esta película.
Este blog será una especie de cuaderno de bitacora en la que iremos colgando distinto material acerca de la película y de proceso de creación de esta. Comenzamos colgando el video presentación del filme, que se lanzó este lunes 25 de Febrero.

The "Botija de mi País" blog is premiered, a documentary film wich portraits the life of 10 uruguayan musicians that currently live in the United States.
The crew has dedicated the last two years investigating music in migration flows. We have made a register of latinamerican musicians living in the United States and Europe. We have discovered that there is not twenty or thirty,there are thousands of them.
Currently 80.000 uruguayansreside in the U.S,according to the last census made by the American goverment. Being New York the main point of choice to emigrate by our artists,we started bonding with musicians in the area, until it was inevitable the idea of working seriously on the making of this film. This blog will be a sort of binnacle in wich we will be putting different material about the film and its process and creation. We will begin with the film´s Presentation Video ,wich was launched on February 25th.
